Research and describe some features of phonology, morphology, lexicon and grammar (syntax) of an English-based contact dialect, pidgin, or creole language that resulted from interaction between another language (e.g. Spanish, Chinese, Malay, Arabic) and English used by people who speak both languages or are partly proficient in both languages (e.g. Spanglish, Nigerian Pidgin English, Singlish, Indian English, etc. ).
