discussing a plan of action for Mr. Jones. Now, working together as an interprofessional team
Interprofessional Simulation Roles and Responsibility
Instructions:
In the simulation, you witnessed members of the interprofessional team discussing a plan of action for Mr. Jones. Now, working together as an interprofessional team, you will capture collaborative care efforts by creating an artifact to illustrate the interprofessional roles and responsibilities in the case of Mr. Jones.
Your artifact should be a representation of how that plan will be put into action. Be sure your artifact shows you made a good effort to research the roles and took the time to understand each scope of practice for all the professionals/personnel involved in the case study provided (include references and citations within your artifact). Make sure your artifact clearly delineates each person’s individual role in this case how team members would work interprofessionally in an effort to produce the best possible outcome for the patient. Through your exploration of roles and responsibilities, you may recognize that there are shared roles across the team—be sure that that is represented, as well. The artifact should illustrate your understanding of professional roles based on practice guidelines. Each group will create one artifact.
To prepare your artifact, you will meet with your team in the IPE Community to discuss evidence from the literature and professional scopes of practice.
You can use the Discussion Board to communicate, share documents, or use it to exchange contact information to coordinate a group meeting. Alternatively, you may choose to meet synchronously via phone, Microsoft Teams, and so forth.
Referencing: As you complete this assessment, be sure to reference the resources used to support your decisions for this case study. In order to do so, you should reference within your artifact using standard in-text citations in APA format (7th edition). For example: (Parry, 2018). Then, attach a reference list page in APA format, just as you would for any other paper.
